Best Dressed Guest!
Fear not, for we have taken all the guess work out of “does this match the vibe?”
Semi-Formal Garden Party.
No, that was not a wedding dress code Mad Lib, but it does quickly get the point across.
We have provided a ceremony color palette of approved colors below, for your convenience.
Women are encouraged to wear full length dresses, and Men are encouraged to wear jackets - ties are optional. Women may also wear suits, but again ties are optional, and Men wearing dresses must be full length and really pulling it off.
Below is a link to a Pinterest Board with some outfit inspiration for the ceremony.
As for the rehearsal dinner, you may wear something nice for the photo opp, but it is not as formal as the ceremony. I believe the new term for this is called “Dressy Casual”. Serving looks is encouraged, though not required. Men, you do not have to wear a suit jacket.
Color Palette
Obviously dont wear full white bridal gowns, but other than that it is pretty generous!
We have provided a ceremony color palette of approved colors, for your convenience. Not only does this take the guest work out of what colors you are “allowed” to wear to a wedding, but it will make the photos look naturally cohesive as well.
We want our guests to help embody the vibrant colors of summer. Florals are highly encouraged! If that means the florals have white in them, that is totally fine, just be normal and use your best judgement.
We want everyone to dress to impress, no need to tone it down as not to “outshine” the bride. The pictures are only as good as the outfits you all wear, so let’s really pop out.
That being said…
If you show up to my wedding ceremony in jeans and/or Vans slip ons, you will be escorted out back and fed to a pit of venomous snakes. - Jolea
